Three months after the suboccipital craniectomy, I went to see the Neurosurgeon who performed the operation.  His advice to me was:  “Start Streaking.”  He explained that he’s been streaking for eight years.  And no, my doctor was not suggesting that I exercise naked.  His streak was going on the treadmill for 40 minutes a day (he started with 20 minutes and has worked up to 40 minutes).

I have to admit that I resist flowing into fall. For as long as I can remember, at the end of the summer, I’ve been sad to see summer end. Summer has always been my favorite season. I celebrate my birthday at the beginning of summer. Spending day and/or night at the beach in summertime brings me true joy. I have also enjoyed the slower pace that summertime brings.
