For those of you who have attended my classes, I always begin my class by setting an intention. I have been fortunate enough to have some amazing teachers throughout the years. And all of them taught me the importance of setting intentions.

What intention do you have with your yoga practice?

Do you get on the mat/meditation cushion every day? Just do 3 poses or 1 minute of meditation. It is my practice always to set an intention before I begin yoga. And it is also my morning daily practice to set an intention for my day. This is a great example of how I take my yoga from only on my yoga mat to out into my world. Explore living your yoga with me in a weekly workshop in the form of a book club. This is an 8-week workshop beginning February 1st. The practice of yoga begins on the mat. However, the teachings of yoga can be more than just something we practice once a week. Learn to take small, steady steps to go from yoga is what you do to being who you are.

“What would it be like if every breath were a practice? If every one of our interactions were a practice?”

– Judith Lasiter
